Architecture uses space, light and material to affect your mood.  A well-lit place can positively impact a person’s health. Traditional light have proved useful for a long period of time but failed to cut running cost and reduce energy wastage. The new LED ceiling panel are a perfect stand in for conventional grid based lights to solve these issues. These are commonly found in places such as hospitals, lobbies, discussion rooms, offices, restaurants and schools. These have become very popular in recent years because of the well balanced and extremely amicable lightening environment offered by them. These are excellent for energy saving cutting the power cost and also healthier and safer for eyes. These are free from Ultra-violet and Infra-Red emissions giving a better quality lamp life. Installation of these light requires professional help but to make things easier for you we have reviewed the installation quickly.

First thing that needs to be done is to check the integrity of the LED lights and make sure that the package include all the standard accessories required to make a successful installation. Next is the assembly of the light panels. For this glue the power pack onto the panels back. Now connect the power output terminal to the panel light input. Than make the power input terminal receive the AC power supply. Finally install the light panel in the ceiling.

There are four different ways to install LED ceiling lights- suspended, built in, recessed or mounted. Mounted and suspended provide a soft look while recessed and built in give a sleeker look. For pendent lights and chandeliers a suspended installation is required. The lights in the LED help to enhance the style of the fixture. The components of the light are normally very delicate so to avoid any damage or loss make sure to read the user manual carefully before proceeding towards the installation. Also read carefully about the different components of the device.

During the installation pay more attention towards the wires connection. Follow the instruction given on the manual and do the lightening part and driver connection first than move on towards other systems and finally connect the light to power system. LED lights are electronic products so if anything goes wrong with the power connection it can damage the whole panel.

Now comes the main step that is the installing of the lights. Decide for a suitable place for putting the LED lights.  It is recommended to use the place that is close to the socket to avoid long wires and other complications that arise because of them. The next step is to make a note of the dimensions of the panel which needs to be mounted. This is required for drilling the holes in the ceiling at correct distances. Normally people don’t pay much attention, roughly calculate the dimension and drill holes which later on causes unbalanced hanging. Make sure to take correct measurement to avoid such troubles.

First install all the accessories to the panel and for more information carefully read and understand the installation steps in detail. Next screw the cables onto the roof and adjust them properly to have a horizontal alignment. Make sure that the hooks used in the hanging are strong enough to hold the weight three times that of the panel itself.

Ceiling- mounted

In this case place the clips that are being used to hold the panel in the ceiling where the light needs to be installed. Now attach the other clips to the LED light penal. Next Screw both the clips together.

First you need to remove the old lights from the grid where LED light panel needs to be placed. Make sure to choose the place where the panel can fit exactly inside the grid otherwise panel won’t be able to hold itself in place. Now place the LED panel in the grid.
